Acer announced the release of its first Android tablet last week. The Iconia A500 is priced at USD 449, and is expected to be available at the end of April, with pre-orders being accepted at BestBuy now. The announcement occured after Acer’s CEO, Gianfranco Lanci, announced his resignation following disagreements with the company’s board over mobile computing priorities.
